The Haunted are the best band of all time! (With former members of At The Gates, the second best band of all time, you shouldn’t be surprised.) They are a melodic, loud, Swedish metal band. I love them so much I would marry them if they were not all Swedish metal dudes (and it was not illegal in the US)!

I got to see them for the first time this summer at Oz Fest. They came back through Milwaukee this weekend and played at The Rave/Eagles Lounge (why does a bar need 2 names?). They played a great show and got a much longer set than at Oz Fest, so I was really stoked. They played with God Forbid who were decent and Meshugga which was uninspiring to me.

Long live Swedish Metal!
